ISO 9001:2008 Quality Management System Certificate
VTN-Agency was granted by "Technoprogress" Expert Center with ISO 9001:2008 Conformity Certificate. The certificate confirms that the quality management system with reference to VTN-Agency’s customs representative services, as well as with reference to company’s freight-forwarding services rendered domestically and abroad in regard to various export-import cargoes complies with requirements of GOST R ISO 9001-2008 (ISO 9001:2008)

Annual Hamburg Port Reception in St. Petersburg
On September, 20, 2012 representatives of VTN companies have taken part in Hamburg port solemn reception. Hamburg port is the largest port of Germany, one of our main partners in sea/ocean freight logistics. The reception was attended by official persons, representatives of port Hamburg, and transport and logistics professionals.

Automotive Supply Chain conference
Alexander Kulikov, Deputy General Director of VTN-Agency and Natalia Duka, Chief of the Projects Department have taken part in Automotive Supply Chain conference. The event took place in Moscow on September, 19, 2012. The Conference addressed the challenges and opportunities that all sectors of the automotive industry are facing as the market continues to grow. Conference topics are of great interest to our people as VTN companies are heavily engaged in automotive logistics. OEMs, component manufacturers and supply chain service providers could exchange opinions and discuss various issues of automotive industry.

Cooperation with Siemens Electroprivod
VTN-Agency started to provide transport and logistics services for ‘Siemens Electroprivod’ plant in St. Petersburg to support import of some components. “Door-to-door” logistics services are offered on regular basis and include customs clearance as an important element of service.

Taking part in the opening ceremony of the PCMA Rus CKD production line in Kaluga
On July 4, a grand-opening ceremony was held at PCMA Rus automotive plant in Kaluga (Peugeot Citroen Mitsubishi Automotive Rus) to start the complete knock down (CKD) production of Peugeot 408. The transferring from semi knock down to complete knock down assembly is one of the most important stages of PCMA Rus production process. The event was marked by President Putin welcome letter. The opening ceremony was attended by Kaluga region governor and central government senior officials.
Our leading experts also have been invited to take part in the event. Since 2010 VTN companies have actively worked with PCMA Rus to support production machinery and components supply chains.
Participating in the official opening of PCMA Rus CKD production line in Kaluga reflects our strong position within the market place as one of the leading automotive logistics providers.

A Health Day
On June, 9, 2012 VTN staff participated in a «Health Day» corporate event. Action took place in the countryside outside St.-Petersburg on coast of Lembolovskoye lake. The event was organized for VTN people to take a day and concentrate on their own health. Due to sports and competitions participants managed to improve their athletic form and team spirit. A picturesque landscape, a healthy dinner, a guitar and songs also gave everyone the chance to enjoy the day.

Cooperation with BAT - a progress report for the first half of the year.
In the year 2011 CJSC «Petersburg-Vneshtrans» took part in a BAT Russia’s tender for warehousing and terminal services. As a result, since February, 2012 «Petersburg-Vneshtrans» has started to handle BAT tobacco materials at «Petersburg-Vneshtrans» terminal and warehouse facilities in St. Petersburg. The scope of services includes storage, materials handling, transloading.
