The welcome reception on the occasion of the Day of the German unity held by the General consulate of the Federal Republic of Germany in St. Petersburg took place at the Events hall in «Astoria» hotel in St. Petersburg on October, 2, 2019.
The welcome reception was attended by representatives of city and regional authorities, intellectuals, artists and business people. Warm words and congratulations on the Day of the German unity were expressed by Dr. Eltje Aderhold, Consul General of the Federal Republic of Germany in St. Petersburg and by other officials.
Speakers marked the importance of reunification of Germany in October of 1990, welcomed the development of cooperation between St. Petersburg and Germany in various areas of science, technology, numerous areas of industry and trade.
Welcome reception was held in very cordial atmosphere.
