New Siemens plant in Russia opening ceremony

On June 18, 2015 a solemn opening ceremony was held by Siemens Gas Turbine Technologies (joint venture of Siemens AG and Power Machines) to launch new gas turbines production plant located in Greenstate Industrial Park (Gorelovo, Leningrad region).

Sergey Naryshkin, Chairman of the Russian State Duma, Alexander Drozdenko, temporarily acting as the governor of Leningrad region, and other officials attended the event. Guests and visitors stressed that this project represents a best example of cooperation between Germany and Russia in todays’ uneasy political situation.

Alexander Kulikov as the delegate of the VTN management team took part in the event.
