VTN-Agency to start activities under Bridgestone project on machinery importation for passenger car radial tire plant in Ulyanovsk, Russia

The process is under way to implement in practice a customs clearance and logistics concept designed for importation of manufacturing equipment for Bridgestone plant in Ulyanovsk. This concept is a follow-up to findings from several meetings of involved parties held earlier in Tokyo and Ulyanovsk (see previous news dated May - July, 2014). The customs and logistics concept was developed by VTN-Agency specialists and agreed by all project participants. Upon completion of a pile of works on preliminary stage all necessary sets of documents were prepared by VTN-Agency to apply to Federal Customs Service of the Russian Federation (FCS) for classification of manufacturing equipment in an unassembled state according to Customs Commodity Code. First applications for classification have been submitted to FCS on August, 28, 2014.
