Hamburg Port Welcome Reception in St. Petersburg

On August, 19 over two hundred representatives of the port and transport industry from Hamburg and St. Petersburg have gathered at Hamburg Port welcome reception in St. Petersburg. Among high officials who attended the event - Mrs. Katrin Werdermann, acting as Consul General of Federal Republic of Germany in St. Petersburg, Dr. Bernd Egert, State Secretary in the Free and Hanseatic City of Hamburg's Ministry of Economics, Transport and Innovation, Mr. Ingo Egloff, Port of Hamburg Marketing (HHM) Executive Board Member, member of the Hamburg City Parliament and the Bundestag, Mrs. Natalia Kapkajewa, Head of the Port of Hamburg Marketing (HHM) Representative Office in St. Petersburg, Dr. Gabriele Koetschau, Head of the Hamburg Chamber of Commerce representation in Saint-Petersburg, Mr. Igor Lonsky, First Deputy Chairman of the Committee for External Relations of St. Petersburg, and other representatives of St. Petersburg port and city administration. The partnership of twin-cities Hamburg and Saint Petersburg has a long-term history. Now joint projects between two cities are successfully implemented in variety of areas including trade and economy, public health services, culture, tourism, etc. All this has been marked by speakers.
